I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

Dirty, expansive death metal full of murky atmosphere and brutal instrumentation and vocals. More aggressive and forward than previous material, but no less devastating, this album showcases this band's remarkable status in death metal. Covering a vast scope of different sounds and approaches, and maintaining both a more classic and modern style, there is a bit of everything to like in the nine tracks. Lorenzo

The hefty and dire atmosphere is perfectly accentuated by that melodic guitar tone that weaves its way through each sprawling track adding clarity and beauty. However, it is all ripped down and muddied by the sinister vocals, which are that gravelly deep tone that befits both death and doom so wonderfully.
The pacing and song lengths on this album are spot on, and it again hits that sweet spot between both genres. When it veers into some more sludgy or brutal points, it is absolutely crushing. Lorenzo

One more outstanding band with Phil Tougas on a guitar. Modern and more brutal take on old school intricate prog tech-death (Cynic/Atheist) style. Very good album, with diverse moods, unexpected tempo changes, fantastic fretless bass work, lyrical interludes and other typical style's traits. Highly recommended Dmitry Nevozhay
