What a monster of an album - the dense, vicious nature tears your chest open and devours your insides. Sick fuckin’ riffs - always a big fan of this one since release. MetalJazzDnB
Disgusting, decrepit blackened death (/ doom) metal awash in an asphyxiating atmosphere. Churning with horrific torment, this marks an impressive balancing of the abyssal depths and harrowing intensity into an abhorrent debut
A dual cohesive and disjointed sound can be appreciated, with echoing guitars mixing into hammering drums before being smothered in cavernous vocals bubbling from a tar pit. There is an immensity, with enough space given for everything to coalesce into a volatile slop Lorenzo
I have for a long time delayed the purchase, so impenetrable this album sounded. Amidst the suffocating mass of hellish Doom, I was left disoriented and puzzled: some of the darkest corners of this album were urging me to search for light. And then the magic works, by sheer dint of faith: I knew this band was subtle enough to hide its talent and there it was, shimmering through the folds of the darkness. Brilliant, in fact.
